The two things that shutter speed effects is light as well as movement. Shutter speed is represented on my camera with an S. The modes on our camera that allow for shutter speed manipulation are the up and down arrows to change speed. With Shutter speed you change speed fast or slow down both having two different effects happen. With the Shutter Speed fast it makes it easyier to capture objects in movment and haves a cool effect making the background blurry and the main object still. With the Speed Slowed down it makes cool light effects also works with cars in motion it creats a line good when mountain racing also use in some racing movies nice affect.
